East Orlando School of Music (ESOM) is an independent community music school that has been serving the Waterford Lakes and east Orlando area since 2004. Located at 650 N Alafaya Trail — sharing the same building as Revolutions Dance Company — ESOM offers private lessons in piano, guitar/bass guitar, voice, drums, brass/woodwinds, strings, rock band, and DJ lessons for students ages 4 and up through adults. The school is distinguished by its warm, community-oriented approach and its multi-instructor faculty — each specialist teaching within their primary instrument rather than the jack-of-all-trades model common at chain music schools. ESOM has built a loyal student base across east Orlando families, with students regularly competing in OCPS talent shows and state music competitions with standout results. Year-round enrollment, summer music camps, instrument rentals, and group rock band classes round out a curriculum designed to keep students engaged through every stage of their musical development.
