Leslie Funk is the co-founder of Three Cord Marriage Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry dedicated to strengthening marriages through community, coaching, and hands-on tactical training. Alongside her husband Raymond, Leslie built a one-of-a-kind training experience that combines real-world marriage enrichment with immersive simulated defensive pistol instruction — a fusion that has earned national recognition and passionate testimonials from couples across the country. A USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor, Leslie brings both technical expertise and a deeply personal calling to her work. Her path to firearms instruction grew directly from her marriage journey: she and Raymond discovered that engaging in shooting sports and self-defense training together was a powerful catalyst for unity, trust, and shared purpose. That experience became the foundation of Three Cord Marriage's flagship Tactical Marriage Training Day — a full-day event where couples train side-by-side in marriage enrichment sessions and immersive firearm scenario exercises. Leslie's background spans two decades in hospitality design, where she developed a sharp eye for environments, experiences, and how spaces shape people. She brings that same intentionality to her training events: every detail is considered, every drill is purposeful, and every couple leaves not just with sharper skills but with a deeper bond.
