Marcello Nencini is the founder and lead instructor of Nencini Dance Studio — Orlando's premier ballroom dance school, located near SeaWorld at 5312 Central Florida Pkwy. A native of Pisa, Italy who speaks five languages (Italian, English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Dutch), Marcello brings a career of world-class competitive achievement to every lesson he teaches. He is a Netherlands Champion of Dance Sport, World Trophy Show Dance Champion, Top 24 World Ranking Finalist, Brazilian National Champion, South American Champion, and Vice Italian Champion. Most recently, he obtained his World Dance Council International Judging License in both Ballroom Standard and Latin American styles — allowing him to judge competitions worldwide. Marcello co-directs the studio with Ekaterina Maksimova, a St. Petersburg-born ballroom champion in her own right (Asian Pacific Standard Champion, Australian National Champion, WDSF International Open Champion, 19th place World Championship, Brazilian National Champion) and certified WDC International Judge. Together, they have created a studio whose instructors are not just teachers but world-level practitioners — a rare combination in the Orlando area. Nencini Dance Studio offers private lessons for singles and couples, wedding dance choreography, quinceañera choreography, Pro-Am competition preparation, social dance club events, and venue rental. Their teaching approach — the Nencini Method — emphasizes rapid skill development, confidence-building, and a genuinely welcoming environment for complete beginners and experienced dancers alike. Walk-ins welcome Monday through Friday 1–9 PM.
