Shay Davis is the founder and chief firearms instructor of Expert Marksman Academy — a full-service firearms training and retail facility located at 1485 S Orange Blossom Trail in Apopka, Florida, on the northwest edge of the Orlando metro. A career security professional and firearms instructor with nearly a decade of armed security experience, Shay built Expert Marksman Academy from the ground up into one of Central Florida's most comprehensive training destinations. The Academy offers a broad range of services under one roof: concealed carry weapons (CWL) training, Class D and G security officer licensing, advanced shooting classes, and a recently added FFL dealership for firearms sales and transfers. Shay's philosophy is rooted in marksmanship fundamentals — his programs are designed to produce not just licensed carriers, but genuinely skilled, confident, and responsible gun owners who can perform under pressure.
